Who Is Emily Jardine?
My Life & Work In Just 5 Paragraphs...
My first ever audition was at the age of 4, when I climbed on to a pew during a carol service and began singing very loudly along with the choir. Instead of kicking me out, the congregation let me continue singing and even added me to the choir.
Not much has changed since then. Sure, my performances have become a little less public since then, just to myself in my studio. But my love of performing is still as strong, and my neighbours are still there to act as my unwilling audience, kindly letting me go on.
I live and breathe voiceover, not only voicing for my clients, but also casting for projects and supporting new voiceovers to discover their unique style. My business is part of myself, it’s deeply personal and I’ve only grown my business to the size it is now by ensuring every one of my clients knows that I’m always there to go above and beyond for them.
So what do decades of personal relationships look like when broken down into cold hard numbers? Well, I've now recorded nearly 1,000 scripts and I’m the brand voice for 50 household names. And on top of that, I'm represented by agents in 12 countries across 5 continents.

The MO Behind My VO
When I first embarked on my voiceover career, I had very little guidance when it came to the ins and outs of running a successful voiceover business. With no roadmap, I had to personally relearn every mistake that others could have warned me about before experience finally set in.
Looking at those early days from the comfort of the rear view mirror, my tougher start was a blessing in that it forced me to directly learn every skill I needed to produce amazing work, both as an audio artist and business owner.
My unusually wide and diverse career has led me to adapt a uniquely personal philosophy when it comes to delivering work to my clients and supporting new artists. After all, how could I ever be stingy with any industry knowledge or additional effort when I know just how many stumbling blocks a voiceover project is hiding below the surface.
By the time I leave any production, I always aim to be on first name terms with everyone I work with and even know their favourite sandwich order; from the novice voiceover artist searching for a direction to a multi-million pound company launching their latest campaign.
Creating great work is difficult, so my prime motivation is to be there every step of the way to help you create something amazing, because otherwise the lessons I’ve had to learn would have been learned for nothing.

I've come a long way from interrupting that choir all those years ago. My job has taken me to some truly bizarre places that I never thought I'd ever experience.
From learning Chinese Mandarin at Business School, recording voiceovers across a majority of countries in the world to working with musicians from Status Quo and The Beatles - I really do believe I'm being honest when I say I've seen and heard it all. That's why I can be so involved and helpful to every client I work with.
